A new LG G7 ThinQ leak was shared by evleaks today, and it reveals the notch display of the upcoming flagship phone. The photo below has an odd angle, and tricks the untrained eye in to believing the Notch isn’t there.
So, we thought zooming in to the image might give us a better look, but the angle of the picture is weird, and combined with the dark wallpaper, it is very difficult to show the notch clearly.
Increasing the exposure of the LG G7 ThinQ leak helped, and this is what the notch design on the phone actually looks like.
Here is a zoomed in version of the picture.
As you can see from the above image, a selfie lens and a few sensors have been packed in to the LG G7 ThinQ notch along with an ear piece. The status bar icons are sitting on either side of the notch.
The device has a metal frame running around the edges, and on the right side of which is the power button. The design of the front panel is very odd considering that the LG G7 ThinQ has a very noticeable chin, and a rather significant bezel on the top of the front panel.
And there is no fingerprint scanner visible on the front either. So, what is the point of including the notch in the first place? We can only speculate that LG didn’t want to be left behind in the notch trend, without reducing the bezel sizes.
The LG G7 ThinQ will be unveiled on May 2nd, so we only have to wait for about 2 weeks, to see if this design holds true.
