An LG G7 ThinQ leak, shared on Twitter by evleaks, has revealed the six sides of the phone. The press render leak shows the silver and gray variant of the device, and it does have a notch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
That’s not the noticeable part though, it is the ugly and sizeable chin, which ruins the look of the device. The LG G7 ThinQ has a metallic frame and back panel. The latter houses dual rear cameras with an LED Flash and what looks like Laser Auto Focus.
A fingerprint scanner is placed below the cameras, and right below that is a G7 ThinQ logo. The LG G7 ThinQ leak shows that there is a separate LG logo with the letters LG next to it, on the lower half of the panel. There are a total of 4 buttons on the frame, two of which are the volume rocker keys, and one is the power button, with the remaining one being a shortcut for the Google Assistant. Seriously LG? It’s like they want people to hate the phone.
But there is something to like about the phone too, the leaked photos from evleaks, also shows that the LG G7 ThinQ has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type C connector, on the bottom.
The LG G7 will be launched on May 3rd, so we won’t have to wait for long to see how the phone looks like in real life. Only time will tell whether the flagship phone will be able to compete with its South Korean compatriot Samsung’s Galaxy S9.
