The Samsung Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8 phones have been launched in India. Both mid-range phones sport the company’s Infinity Display, with an aspect ratio and uses Super AMOLED tech. The Galaxy J8 price in India is a tad on the higher side for the specs though.
The devices run on Android Oreo, support Face Unlock, and have a fingerprint scanner.
The Samsung Galaxy J6 has a 5.6″ HD+ display, and is powered by an Exynos 7870 processor, with 3GB/4GB of RAM. The phone will be available in 32GB and 64GB storage variants.
A 3,000 mAh battery backs the Galaxy J6. The selfie lens on the phone is an 8 megapixels camera with an f/1.9 aperture and an LED flash, while the main camera is a 13 megapixels shooter with an f/1.9 aperture, and also has an LED Flash.
The Galaxy J8 comes with a 6.0″ Full HD+ display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. The device packs a 3,500mAh battery, and features dual rear cameras . with the primary lens being a 16megapixels shooter with an f/1.7 aperture, accompanied by a 5 megapixels lens with an f/1.9 aperture. The selfie lens is a 16 megapixels camera with an f/1.9 aperture.
Both devices support Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano + Nano/ Nano + microSD Card) Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB and feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Galaxy J6 price in India is Rs. 13,990 for the 3GB RAM variant with 32GB of storage, while the 4GB RAM model with 64GB of storage will retail for Rs. 16,490. The phone is available on Samsung’s eStore, PayTM and Flipkart.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 price in India is Rs. 18,990, and will go on sale next month. The Samsung Galaxy J6 and the Galaxy J8 will be available in three colours: Blue, Black and Gold.
